SRAFFANS: CRITICAL NATURE
Sraffans are regarded by other species in mixed terms. They are appreciated for their uncanny abilities to assist governments and corporations in long-range planning. If a Sraffan approaches you with advice, s/he is always completely accurate. ("You won't get that couch up those stairs unless you cut 12 microns off the front left leg.") While helpful, this information is delivered in the Sraffan's bored, exasperated, "I can't believe you need to be told this" voice, accompanied by the spasmodic flapping of its gesture-tentacles.
